Chrissie's Bio
At a very young age Chrissie began singing. To accompany her voice she learned to play piano and
guitar and set about learning to make music.
In high school she formed and fronted an original band. She wrote lyrics, composed the music, sang
and played keys. The band played together for over 6 years, so her college nights performing
original rock and blues in the Philadelphia music scene contrasted sharply with her days spent
studying classical voice and piano at Temple University. With her Bachelor of Music degree in Music
Education (voice and piano emphesis), Chrissie is a certified Music Teacher. She has taught music in
classrooms and in private lessons for years. Her performance repertoire includes multiple languages,
dialects, and styles as diverse as R&B to Opera. She is experienced in recording and stage
productions and she has been commissioned to compose music for theatrical scripts. Currently,
Chrissie performs original music with her band iNFiNiEN. They recently recorded their second album
and play live throughout the tri state area.
Chrissie's combination of training, talent, and musical passion encourages her students to relax and
enjoy being musicians. All ages enjoy her humorous, never-intimidating teaching style. She helps
students feel comfortable and confident while learning new skills -- or tuning-up rusty ones.
