Ariel Kerber
Voice/ Piano
Kate Beyer

Growing up in a family of musicians, Ariel Kerber was surrounded by music and creativity her entire childhood. Ariel began studying piano, saxophone and voice at an early age, and along with her musical ambitions, she was also heavily involved in dance and theater arts. By the age of 16, her love of singing and music won out. Ariel pursued her love for singing and went on to study at the University of the Arts. At UArts, she was part of countless ensembles and studied under teachers Justin Binek, Carol Lutrell, and Jeff Kern to name a few. She graduated from UARTS in 2010 with a BM in Vocal Performance, and also received an award for vocal excellence, passion, and creativity. Ariel is now a freelance vocalist; she performs and arranges in a female quartet, The Dolls, and teaches voice and piano privately. She has performed in venues including The Kimmel Center, The Academy of Music, The Merriam Theatre, Chris' Jazz Cafe, and more. She has also had the great pleasure of not only demonstrating in workshops, but performing in Music Education Conventions such as IAJE in Toronto, Canada, and ISME in Bologna, Italy. Ariel embraces an eclectic musical background, ranging from Jazz to Indie, Musical Theatre to Classical and Sacred, R&B, Country, and Salsa. She is thrilled to be joining the faculty at The Music Workshop and can't wait to share her knowledge and love for music!
